i knew i wasn’t the only onet hat thinks that black and white is kinda like a remake!
They also said Black and White would be a “New Beginning” for Pokemon, so it was a remake if the original beginning, except new… I’m still really excited for all the things they got planned for the generation, since they left a HUGE amount of hints that they’ll expand Black and White later on (most likely in the third version)

Do we really need to be this rude? I haven’t realized it before a couple of days ago. Most of you probably didn’t got it the very first time you saw them too. Mocking someone for thinking something was mindblowing isn’t going to make you look oh so smart and cool, you just sounds like a jerk and make the person and everybody else that haven’t realized it by now sad.

I thought of a simple flying dragon. But hey, I think the first dragon I ever saw was the water dragon from Courage the Cowardly Dog (the second one being a “plain” flying dragon).

I liked the original meme, I find it hard to believe that everyone noticed the similarity in types between the three main legendaries in BW and the legendary trio in the originals. This one just comes off kind of pompous.
It obviously means they’re making a sequel to Pokemon 2000 starring the dragons. “Disturb not the harmony of fire, ice, and lightning…”
what about entei, raikou, and suicune?
Almost works; while Suicune is a water type instead of an Ice type, it is also known as an incarnation of the Northern Wind. So while drawing connections is certainly possible (and fun), it is not as obvious or maybe intentional as the dragons and the birds.
Funny how just the birds are singled out. If anything, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina would make better comparisons. Or Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza. All it really is is two cover legends and a third hidden legend. Woop-de-duh.
They actually are the best comparisons. The comparison is of the primary type of the trio’s members. Dumbass -.-
Reshiram’s, Zekrom’s and Kyurem’s types are more likely based on the general Yin/Yan and Weather theme of Generation V than on the legendary birds. Take a look at the other trios, their typing has always been all over the place.

Considering there isn’t a third 5th gen game with the Ice/Dragon pokemon, and there’s barely any knowledge of it in the 5th gen games, I’d say that trio sucks.
One could say the same thing about Giratina before Platinum.
In Pokemon games there are 3 similar attacks: Thunderbolt, Ice beam, Flamethrower. Both of them has 95 power, 100 accuracy, 15 PP and 10% of special effect.
Thunderbolt is Electric type attack
Ice beam is Ice tpe
Flamethrower is Fire type
They’re not Element/Dragon, but Dragon/Element.
Yes type order is not random. Compare Geodude/Rhyhorn or Sableye/Spiritomb.
Primary type is more important concept-wise.
