Jailbreak your iDevice and you can install a free game boy emulator, and a Game Boy Advance emu for 5$ on the Cydia Store. It lags a little on first gen devices though… But it’s awesome to play Pokémon on it! Worth the try!
or just go to sinful iphone repo, and get the craked ones for free. Also, have they fixed the b button on the gameboy emu?

lol i was literally just looking at this on itunes cause i saw they were almost reaching 25 billion downloads. when i looked at the top apps, this was #2 under top paid games. i figured there was gonna be a meme about it

thats why androids are waaaaaay better. On my android im able to play ALL the gameboy color, and gameboy advance games. Too bad im not able to play the ds games, but thats why R4-cards are awesome ^^

Also, pretty much everyone who is going to download this already bought it 14 years ago.
It’s not stealing if you actually own the game… It’s actually very convenient because the save batteries inside original Pokémon games will start to die soon. Therefore, a lot of save games will be lost and the original cartridges will be useless… Downloading an emulator for iDevices or Android is perfectly legit in this case. Also, smartphones easily fit in a pocket, and having an emulator and roms installed in it won’t take more physical space in your pants…. a Gameboy will!

Or you could just play the actual games. Most of us here that would even bother to download an app like this probably already have the actual carts and a GBA lying around.
but having it on your phone or ipad which you already carry on your person would be so much more convenient than carrying a GBA everywhere

There’s actually a lot of files in the app, mostly pictures, but I can’t tell if its legit or not. If you want to play yellow on the iphone,, jailbreak it and install a gbc emulator.
Well, with my jailbraked iPhone I can play all the first gen Pokémon games (and other GB/GBA games, but let’s face it, why bother?) using emulators and stuffs.

apple pulled off the app from the appstore, you can still download from installous if you have an jailbroken iDevice.
BTW, it´s one of the most buyed iphone games EVER, only behind Grand Theft Auto III, nintendo would earn big cash if they release classic apps on the moblie phones market
I saw this on the app store before it was a top rated app, and it got through because it had an actual description of the product. It said it was a collection of pictures and resources and such. Then I saw it on the app store as #5 or whatever, and saw that they changed the description to make it seem like it’s the actual game. So Apple let it through due to the product originally having an honest description.
Android + Emulators = World Domination.

Pick up a GBC for about $10 on eBay, along with a Pokémon Yellow cartridge. Busted battery? Replace it with a screwdriver and some electrical tape.
