  6. Aviator Zero says:

Haunter’s tile seems awkward until you realize that everyone’s had a few drinks already.
Wow, this looks fun. Someone remind me how much a “drink” is, as well as “finishing” it?

    • kingunderthemt says:

depends…can either be a shot or a bottle

    • Towns says:

With games like this, a “drink” would be a “sip” from a beer or similar drink. Generally it would mean a standard mouthfull. Finishing your drink, obviously means drinking whatever is left in your cup or bottle, so at times this isn’t so bad.

    • Aibohphobia says:

drink is usually a gulp of what ever mixed drink or beer you are using… finishing it is kinda self explanatory… you finish the drink you are using and grab a new glass or can

    • Jim says:

pooring beer into a shot glass is a common way to play these types of games. A 12 oz beer will fill 8 shot glasses (1.5 oz). Because this game grants about 30 drinks per person per play, you’ll consume roughly 4 beers per game.
A game like this takes usually no more than an hour, so if you player two games, you’d have 7.5 beers in less than two hours. This will give you a nice buzz.
To give this a sense of proportion, a ‘power hour’ is 7.5 beers across one hour, and this generally gets people drunk or very close.

    • Nick Clegg says:

      ^ Virgin.

  7. The_Void says:

This is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life.

Printing this out and playing this at Uni!

  8. Karnezar says:

How do you tell a secret on Cubone’s square if you can’t talk in Pokemon Tower?

  9. caelen911 says:

awesome but i dont get the elite four what do you mean by 15 original types

    • Aibohphobia says:

      Bug
      Dragon
      Ice
      Fighting
      Fire
      Flying
      Grass
      Ghost
      Ground
      Electric
      Normal
      Poison
      Psychic
      Rock
      Water

    • thespian says:

It’s either a typo or a cleverly hidden way of forcing people to drink. Everyone is pretty much wasted at this point, so when they get to that mark, they won’t stop and remember that there are only 14 typles, not 15. Basically, it forces them to take at least 2 drinks because they think they are missing one.

      • dracowolf says:

        actually I quickly did this, there are 15. 1. fire 2. grass 3. bug 4. poison 5. water 6. ice 7. psychic 8. ghost 9. fighting 10. rock 11. ground 12. electric 13. normal 14. dragon. 15. flying.

      • Mysticuno says:

There are actually only 15 original types. In Gen II, Steel and Dark were added, giving us our current total of 17. 17-2=15

  10. mustakrakish says:

Drinking sucks i want a smoking game

  11. ThatGuyYaKnow says:

I don´t understand the Elite 4 field(English is not my native language so I don´t know the exact way Pokémon-Grammar is handled.

    • Shoto says:

In the first pokémon generation, pokémon could be 15 different types.
      Bug
      Dragon
      Ice
      Fighting
      Fire
      Flying
      Grass
      Ghost
      Ground
      Electric
      Normal
      Poison
      Psychic
      Rock
      Water

You’re supposed to name as many of these 15 types as possible in 30 seconds.

      • ThatGuyYaKnow says:

I know it´s the first generation (NO i deny to know of any other generations!)
i just didn´t know the pokémon were divided into types on the gameboy and I never really played the Card Game.

  12. Xevailo says:

    SO AWESOME!!! *___*
Thanks a ton for sharing, can’t wait to give it a shot ;)

  13. peterman says:

dont really get the slowpoke and psyduck thing :o

  14. Pingvin says:

Can’t wait till im old enough to drink!! i am totally going to make all my fellow nerd friends play this with me!!!

  15. izL1NK says:

Another one for alcohol poisoning? Get the pump and the Gameboy.

  16. garandras says:

So playing this game come Friday night!

  17. Benji says:

Bulbasaur is not weak to Beedrill.

  18. Hectuc says:

If they are referring to strict grass types, then yes, grass is weak to bug. However, Bulbasaur was grasss/poison if I am not mistaken. This would cancel out the weakness to Bug. And yes, Beedrill had bug attacks, Twin Needle and Pin Missle.

    • Aibohphobia says:

in red/blue… poison is also weak to bug

      • Aibohphobia says:

I only know these things because I only played a lot of red and blue when it came out.. then got bored of it after yellow. Still play some pokemon, but only red/blue/yellow and some leaf green.

    • Rhesus says:

Actually, the official guide explained it with multipliers rather than strenght.

So basically, if you have a Bug type fighting a Grass/Poison, it goes as so:

Bug gives you a 1.5x or 2x over grass, and a 1x over poison (meaning it works normally). You would then add your multipliers and make an average. So it would be 2.5x divided by 2. So 1.25x for a Bug type over a Grass/poison type. Less effective, but still better than no advantage.

  19. Jay says:

So if one person lands on a pink, do we think everyone have to drink?

    • The Random Man says:

Pretty sure it means you take a drink no matter what type you are, so I’d assume only if u land on pink.

  20. Murderous Gyrados says:

    Magikarp used Splash…
    It’s a one-hit K.O.!

  21. Tats says:

Shouldn’t the Lapras square be red, not green? Last time I checked, it was fire that was weak against water, not grass.

  22. dracowolf says:

I found what I’m doing for my 21st Birthday party.

  23. John says:

    So after some Math,

    THE IMPOSSIBLE WORST CASE SCENARIO!!

So if you were to land on EVERY square, have to drink 8 drinks everytime it relies on others and took 3 turns to get off of the Zubat type squares, you would drink……

    130 drinks
    3 Finish Bottles
    1 Whole drink

    Have fun dieing everyone!!

  24. Floodclaw says:

Fuchsia Gym is fifth and Saffron Gym is sixth. This one got them switched around.
Otherwise a very nice idea, though.

    • twain249 says:

While this is usually a good idea, as Sabrina is so much harder than Koga, there is no reason why you have to beat Koga first.

  25. Madoc Valanor says:

    Wheres Vulpix? ):

  26. scarecrowcarnage says:

shut up and take my money!!!

  27. The Lawler says:

  29. errsh says:

  30. reshiramblaze says:

    a very DRUNK game board

  31. KidBacon says:

So, When you take a drink, do you have to drink it?
When you give a drink you give one of yours?
If you have drinks left at the end, what do you do?
Do you have to play till everyone is finished?
Do you only drink your drink when it says so?
Some parts id don’t get, but at least it is the most awesome game ever made!!

    • tw@twaffle says:

      1. duh yes
      2. when you give you give the number it says and drink the number it says.
      3. drinks left your choice but man law states no wasted booze.
      4. that ones your choice really, nice philosophizing.
      5. again your choice, typically you’ll forget and drink thru out, like every drinking game. i’ve only ever played one game that determined the winner on who finished the drink first.

  32. coaster22 says:

How does Lapras affect Grass type pokemon?

  33. *a wild drunk appears

There may be a good reason, but can anyone tell me why Lapras hurts Bulbasaur?

  40. MP77 says:

I wanna be very drunk, like no one ever was. To taste them all is my real test, to not be sober is my cause, I will travel to every bar, searching far and wide, each type of beer, to understand, the whiskey that’s inside…
Alcohol, gotta drink em all (it’s you and me), bein drunk is my destiny, Alcohol, ohh, you’re my best friend, in a world we must defend, Alcohol, a blood content that’s so true, one more drink will pull me through….you teach me while I down you, ALCOHOL, gotta drink em all, gotta drink em allll!

  44. Mike says:

waterfall is a 2nd gen move. you lose

    • Da Bisky Niffer says:

no, it was simply turned into an HM in second gen, both seaking and goldeen have always learned it since 1st gen

  45. The Random Man says:

    Game Board Pokedex:
    Seen: 83
    Owned: 8
Who wants to make a space for the rest of the Pokemon?

  46. Final_J says:

is there a high def version ? getting old and small prints on paper

  47. Maybe if some of you guys actually had a brain, you would realize that the Lapras space actually hurts Squirtle according to the rules.
