I don’t get it, why are so many people in favour of a second Snap but not in favour of the new Nobunaga’s Revenge? Snap has no real gameplay or any sort of story!
Most people are unfamiliar with Nobunaga’s Revenge. I’m currently undecided since I don’t really know anything about it. Pokemon Snap on the other hand was an awesome (albeit incomplete) game in my opinion, and they could do so much more with it now.
I’ve never heard of Nobunaga’s Ambition before yesterday, but I still think it looks great. However, I’m placing my money on the haters of the new game being too stupid to successfully complete even a single mission in a strategy game.
I’m really hoping it’ll be good, but it’s too soon to tell for me. It’s definitely an interesting and unexpected direction for the series to take.
Try getting a Final Fantasy Tactics or Fire Emblem game. If you enjoy that, you’ll enjoy this.
Really? Well, I’m a massive fan of those two, I’m now considering getting the new Pokemon game…
But If they released Snap on 3DS, I would get one right now.
I still say the new game should have been a crossover with something us non-Japanese people know, like, I don’t know, maybe Advance Wars or Golden Sun.
Golden Sun pokemon would be awesome. However, I disagree about Advance Wars, it’s by far the worst tactics game I’ve ever played.
Okay, Days of Ruin was pretty bad, but the other two were pretty good…

I think nobungas revenge just looks like a pokemon rescue team clone, and the story was pretty weak and forced in that.
I’m pretty sure that it’s going to follow nobungas’ formula of a strategy warfare gameplay. Not just simply trying to reach the next floor. Also why are you bringing up the plot of mystery dungeon when clearly there will be almost no similarities between the two?

Pokemon Snap was probably one of the best games ever to come out for the Nintendo 64, so of course many people from across the lands would know about it. This Nobunga game, many people like myself are just now hearing about it. So naturally we would care less about that, and focus more on POKEMON. When i heard about the crossover, it looked like it would be a fun game though.

because i don’t think bastardising Japanese history with pokemon is such a good idea, they’re more than welcome to make a new pokemon game with the same format, just come up with a better idea for a central plot

3Ds has a “program” like that. You can take 3D pictures of Pokémon and join them together with real landscapes…

but that only has 5th gen pokemon, and not even all of them. pokemon snap 3d would be an amazing idea, you could see how the pokemon interact in their environment. with the right innovations, this really could be a great game, despite all the hate on new pokemon, a snap game might save the franchise from the low it’s in.
The franchise isn’t in a low point. Your narrow, biased perspective only makes you see what you want to see. Which is the series failing with the new generation.
Says you. In all their hate for GenWuners, people now just can’t accept if someone just happens to like the first ones the best, or thinks the latest installment is the worst. You don’t need to be biased to think that.
I would buy a 3DS if they didn’t suck.
I’m not sure if this is what the picture is saying, but I think it would be cool to have like a bonus AR mode… Walking around your house taking pictures of Pokemon? Strange but awesome.

Oh, shut up. Maybe he’s a teen like I am, or maybe he isn’t allowed to have Pokemon games. I’ve never played it, but I know that you go around an island taking pictures of some of the first Gen. Pokemon. That would still be a great idea, taking Poke-pics in the real world.

OMG what a tease!! I would throw money at Nintendo in a heartbeat if they made this real… JUST TAKE MY MONEY NINTENDO!!! There are so many things you could do with this game on the 3DS. They could put in EVERY Pokemon, but you’d have to build yourself up to the current gen, otherwise people would just skip to their favorite. I know I’d skip to 2nd gen just to take pictures of Elekids (my favorite Pokemon). OMG this would just be AMAZING!

So i’m not the only one who thinks so. Gen III is my fav gen and i’d like to see it for DS/3DS.
1, you ARE too young to be on here. fortunately for you, everyone else has a mind of a 12 year old, so nobody would have noticed had you said nothing.
2. there’s no need for a r/s/e remake since it’s compatible to get those pokemon into the current gen without any hassle. that’s why there were remakes for the first two gens. nobody could get all the past pokemon without dealing with the hassle of the gamecube games. whether or not they make one is another story.
3. you’re 12, you’re too young to know the amazing genius that was pokemon snap or the n64. trust us, you want snap re-made for the 3ds, even if it’s a rehash of the original.
I, sir or madam, happen to 13 and a half, not much difference. I know what Snap is via Bulbapedia. I’ve played maybe 3 or 4 main series games, seen Mystery Dungeon, and borrowed Ranger. I’ve never owned a game, but I’ve read Bulbapedia, so I know a lot. thus, I know how awesome it was. I would love to see a remake. I agree with 2, as it is fact, and I think there may be an age limit. 3 is wrong.

If they were to make this, AND include all the Pokemon, then they would need some random generation aspect. Like when you find a flying Pokemon, it’s randomly determined whether it will be Pidgey, Spearow, Tailow, Starly, or Pidove. That way they could fit all the Pokemon within a reasonable amount of maps and definitely increase replay value.

I’d be happy with a Pokemon Snap 3D, but dear god it had better not be in a realistic environment. Pokemon isn’t realistic, don’t try to pass it off as such.

They need to make this game for sure but include every generation. I just ordered pokemon snap because its such an awesome game. Beside why remake old games? Heartgold and Soulsiver are most of the games remade and put together so if anything they should use the controls (moving pokemon in the pc and such) as they did in HG/SS and include gen 5 for 3DS. =)
They need to make a game where you have access to ALL the regions and to every Pokemon. THE ULTIMATE GAME!!!!!!
