Monday Cocktails: Grass Types

pokémon - Monday Cocktails: Grass Types

We loved The Drunken Moogle’s recipes for water-type drinks last week. We found the recipes for the Moogle’s grass-type drinks and we’re excited to see the fire-types coming soon.

Bulbasaur-
1/2 shot lime vodka
1/4 shot lime juice
1/4 shot melon liqueur
Simply mix all three ingredients into a shot glass.

Ivysaur-
1 shot lime vodka
1 shot lime juice
1 shot melon liqueur
1 shot sprite
Shake all ingredients and pour over ice in a rocks glass. Add a stem of mint as a garnish.

Venusaur-
1 Bulbasaur
1 Ivysaur
1 shot lime vodka
1 shot lime juice
1 shot sprite
Finally, to evolve to the Venusaur cocktail, shake a Bulbasaur shot together with an Ivysaur cocktail, along with an additional shot of lime vodka, lime juice, and sprite, and pour over ice into a highball glass. Again, add a few leaves of mint as a garnish.

    • theeta says:

what do you mean? The Squirtle ones we’re mainly blue curacao, while these are mainly lime vodka. Unless you mean the drinks in the set, in which case what on earth did you expect? They’re part of the same set! The referenced pokemon are more or less the same, just bigger versions of the earlier.

      • spanky787 says:

and what is exactly your problem with vodka good sir

      • UmNo?? says:

Actually, if you looked at the recipe, the Squirtle ones were mainly rum. There wasn’t a whole of of blue curacao in there in comparison at all. The coloring came from the Mountain Dew.

  18. Dreamlessfayth says:

I tried them, thank the stars for being 22, and I like the venusaur better than the other two. I didn’t add the mint leaves just some mint flavoring and more lime juice. Two venusaur and one Bulbasaur got me Pajiramon faced. And let me warn you, once you take a sip… you will not be able to put the venusaur down.

  19. LadyMisfitAngel says:

I have not seen hide-nor-hair of the fire type drinks yet. Have I’ve been away from the beloved internet that long that I’m missing it or are they seriously not out yet?

  20. KiwiBroo says:

    I found them!

  21. Renata Tyus says:

I think a visualized presentation can be improved then simply a straightforward text, if things are defined in graphics one can easily be familiar with these.
