keep in mind that in the first pokemon games, graphics were rendered in 4-bit (16 shades of grey)
Which doesn’t mean they were composed of at most 16 HUGE pixels… no color but a good shaping = easy to see what it is… doesn’t work the other way around
4 bit, in fact, like the Atari 2600. The Game Boy Color was 8-bit, and it had WAY better resolution than this. Still an awesome pic.
Huh? The Atari 2600 is an 8-bit console. Uses an 8-bit 6507 processor and 8-bit bus.
I think the Charizard looks more like Dragonite…
